Step 4 - Create Your Blog

By now you should have an article written for your niche web site. We are going to publish this article on your new blog.

Go to www.blogger.com and create a new account. After you receive confirmation, you should login into your account and click on "Create A New Blog".

In the title box be sure to include your entire keyphrase; the blog URL should also contain your keyphrase or at least a part of it - so you can get better search engine placements.

The next thing you need to do now is to post your article: click on "Start Posting" , add the title, the body, and post your article.

You can now click on "View Your Blog" to see your brand new niche website.

I have created the blog landscaping-idea-picture.blogspot.com so you can see with your own eyes how a niche blog gets optimized.

As you can see I've added the main keyword in the URL, in the site title, description, and as the last words that appear on the site. It helps if the last thing Google reads on your site is your main keyword - it should be something like: "Copyright © year keyword". You can easily add HTML, Adsense, plain text etc. by clicking "customize" on the navbar or from Template/->Page Elements.

Here's a great list I found with SEO do's and dont's - 15 minutes SEO.

After you make the post you should go to www.pingoat.com write in your blog's title and URL and click on "Go Pingoat!" - this service will notify blog directories and search engines so that you can get listed as fast as possible in the major search engines.

At first you should try to write an article every day, using your main keyword in it(you can "bold" it a few times - it's good for optimization but don't over do it). Post an article every day and then ping your blog. Do this so Googlebot (Google's spider) will know to come back every day and spider your blog.

A wise thing to do would be to submit your articles to as many article directories as possible and include in the signature a link back to your blog, with the link title being your main keyphrase.

Just go to www.google.com and type in "article directory". That should keep you busy ;)

Optional: To speed things up you could join the article distribution service found at www.isnare.com that does all the hard work for you. For 5 distribution credits you pay $10 and I strongly recommend it as it is really cheap and also the same service I use for distributing my articles to hundreds of article directories.

That's all for today, see you soon!

Note: The article posted on my blog hasn't been rewritten. It is the original article with the writer's sig included.

Step 3 - Create Quality Content

After finding your profitable niche (decent traffic + low competition) the next step is to create quality content for your visitors.

This is as important as the quality of the niche, because even if you have found your profitable niche, your visitors won’t spend time on your web site if the content doesn’t give them what they want - period.

“But how do I write content about a topic I’m unfamiliar with? “ – The answer to this question is a very simple one: You must make some research on the topic and only after you have gathered enough information should you start creating content.

Let’s take the topic we chose in Step 1, “landscaping” – here’s an easy way to learn about this topic and create quality content for your profitable niche web site.

Just go to article directories (go to Google and type in “article directory”) and search for articles related to your topic. Read as many as you can, and after you have enough info write your own article from your own head. Do not copy articles or parts of articles written by someone else because those are all copyrighted and you don’t want any legal trouble now do you?

Also, make sure you insert your main keyphrase 1-2 times in every article you write . This will help grow your keyword density, and will give you higher rankings in Google.

To make your job easier I recommend using EzineArticles.com again. Just choose an article and rewrite it in your own words - be careful with this!

Optional: To speed things up you could pay ghostwriters to create the articles for you. I recommend GetAFreelancer.com for this. It's a service I personally use, and I have always been very satisfied with their writers. You can create an account for free here.

In the next step I’m going to show you how to create your blog, post your article, optimize the blog etc.

Until then, take care!

Step 2 - Finding Profitable Keyphrases

In Step 1 I told you to select a topic for your new niche site, and for the purposes of this tutorial I have chosen the "outdoor landscaping" niche.

We are now going to find profitable keyphrases, with very low competition but with decent traffic.

To find them, we are going to use 2 FREE tools which I personally use each and every time I do niche research.

Tool #1: Google's official Keyword tool - https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Tool #2: Technobloggie's "Google Keyword Metrics Tool" - http://www.technobloggie.com/keyword-tool/index.php

Important: Bookmark the tools NOW so you can find them easier later. There are many similar tools on the internet but from my experience these 2 are the most accurate free ones.

The first thing we need to do now is to open the first tool. Where it says "Enter one keyword or phrase per line:" enter the main keyword, in my case "outdoor landscaping". Now enter the verification code, make sure that "Keyword Search Volume" is selected next to "Choose data to display:" and click "Get More Keywords".

We are now looking for keywords that have at least "low search volume"(in the second column) and "very low advertiser competition"(the third column). Now obviously, advertiser competition is not the same thing as natural search engine results competition, but in my experience with this tool, if the advertiser competition is very low then the SERP's competition is low also - we'll check this anyway to be 100% sure.

What we must do now is make a list with all the keyphrases that have at least a low search volume and very low advertiser competition. In the landscaping example this is how my list will look like:

"decks landscaping, fire pit landscaping, fountains landscaping, landscaping back yard, landscaping building, landscaping fence, light landscaping, lighting landscaping, malibu landscaping, outdoor cottage, outdoor ideas, outdoor paving, outdoor rocks, outdoor stone, outdoor stones, planning landscaping, pools landscaping, porch landscaping, post landscaping, small landscaping, street landscaping, wood landscaping, zen landscaping"

All these keyphrases fit my description - according to Google's tool - but at this moment we cannot be sure which are the most profitable, so this is where the second tool comes into play.

Technobloggie's "Google Keyword Metrics Tool" tells you how much people pay for a top position for a certain keyphrase, the estimated daily search volume, estimated monthly search volume and a few other things. We're interested only in the daily and monthly search volume here.

So what we do now is very simple: we take every keyword from the list we just made, and check it at http://www.technobloggie.com/keyword-tool/index.php. Simply enter the keyword in the box, make sure you choose "Exact" for "Keyword Match Type" and click "Estimates".

The first keyword is "decks landscaping" and the results are:

Estimated Daily Search Volume: 76

Estimated Monthly Search Volume: 2292

Not bad! This keyword alone would bring somewhere around 2000 visitors a month to your site if you were #1 for it. So the next step is to find out exactly how much competition "decks landscaping" has, so we'll know how hard it is to get to #1 for it.

16.12.2008 UPDATE: At this time I recommend you use Google's tool more than Technobloggie's. Google has updated the tool several months ago and now it shows much more detailed information regarding the searches each keyword receives, how much people are spending on top Adwords spots etc. You can do all the research I talk about on this page using Google's Keyword Tool.

End of UPDATE

All we have to do is go to Google.com and enter: "decks landscaping" - exactly like that, with quotes. From my experience if the keyphrase in quotes has less than 10.000 results, then it's very easy to get that #1. Our example has at the time of this writing 14.900 results, which is still great.

Normally it would be very easy to get a number 1 for our keyphrase. But there's even more good news. We can easily see, by looking at our competitors' websites that they are not optimized for "decks landscaping" - this is GREAT news for us as this confirms the fact that getting to number 1 is going to be very easy.

We have just found our first profitable keyword. All we have to do now is finish our list, by checking all the other keywords, following the same steps we took for "decks landscaping". It would be a great idea to create a table with all this data, in MS Word or Excel(recommended) so you can analyze it easily - remember, it's very important to be organized when working on a project.

You can of course use the steps outlined to find profitable keyphrases in any niche! Those free tools are very powerful so like I said before, remember to bookmark them.

In the next installment of this guide I will show you how to create content for this brand new niche site, publish it on a blog, and get a quick first page ranking for your first article.

Until next time,
Take Care!

Step 1 - Find a Topic

Disclaimer: I share with you in this guide the exact method I personally use to create my top quality profit pulling niche blogs. I cannot legally guarantee that you will earn a specific amount of money (or even any money for that matter) since that depends upon your efforts, dedication, ability to follow instructions and judgment. The information provided in this guide is for information purposes only and you assume all responsibility for what you do with this information. What I can promise is that if you do follow the steps outlined in the guide, work hard and have patience you will make money with this method.

This guide has been last updated on 16.12.2008

In this guide I'm going to show you the exact steps required to build a profitable niche site without investing a cent - that's right, you'll learn to pull money out of thin air :) . I'll also give you additional tips on small investments you can make to speed things up but these are optional - so it's totally up to you. To have success with this method the only things you really need are an open mind and dedication - hard work.

If you'll follow the steps outlined you should come up with a highly profitable site that will have a high ranking in Google for your niche keywords, and that will earn anywhere from $1 to $100+ per day - depending on your dedication. I will mainly teach you to build profitable Google friendly niche blogs that will earn you money from Adsense and affiliate programs.

Let's get straight to it.

The very first thing you need to do is think about the subject of your niche. The subject can be absolutely anything, it's all up to you. You'll soon find out that quality profit-pulling sites can be created in every niche known to man - you just have to know how to do things correctly(that's exactly what I'm going to teach you).

It would be easier for you to pick a topic you like and have knowledge about. You'll be writing articles on this topic so if you're a beginner it would be wise to start with a subject you know something about.

If you find yourself out of ideas, I recommend going to article directories for inspiration - my favorite is EzineArticles.com. On their main page, you'll find many categories, each category containing multiple sub-categories.

Before actually choosing a topic, you should create a new folder on your desktop, with the title "Niche Project" - or whatever title you like - because the process of creating the site will be a lot easier if you are organized. We are going to add a lot of data in that folder :)

Ok, now choose a subtopic from EzineArticles.com and make a subfolder in "Niche Project" with the name of that topic.

For the purpose of this example, I'll take Home Improvement -> Landscaping Outdoor Decorating.

I now create the subfolder I mentioned and I'm all set to start the research on the topic - That's what we'll do in Step 2.

We'll find highly profitable kephrases in the landscaping niche, meaning keyphrases that receive decent traffic each and every day but have very low to no competition(this means that it's very easy to grab a #1 on Google for these keyphrases) - I'll show you exactly what tools I use and how I use them.

Ebook compilers

Most people that have had contact with the Internet should have heard of ebooks and if you are an internet marketer then you should know what an Ebook compiler is.

The problem with Ebook compilers is that they are so many out there, which makes it really difficult to figure out which one to choose. I’m going to try to make your job a little bit easier by giving you a few pointers on how to choose the best Ebook compiler.

An ebook compiler is a software tool that changes a document into an .exe file. The ebook file thus created is a stand alone file and can be viewed without the aid of another software application such as Adobe Reader.

The big number of Ebook compilers makes it difficult but there are a series of options that you will need to take into account when trying to find the best one to suit your needs.

When you find an ebook compiler make sure it comes with enough documentation such as a manual. In this way you will be sure that you can take full advantage of the program’s features.

Since your documents won’t be only txt files make sure to choose a compiler that can transform any documents such as html, Word, MS PowerPoint or text into an executable.

Also look at the system requirements for the ebook. You need to make sure it is compatible with your operating system and with other operating systems from which it may be viewed. HTML base ebooks pose another problem as well, for this kind of ebooks keep an eye out for browser compatibility.

An important feature of any ebook compiler is security. Any good compiler should offer features such as restricting certain viewers or keeping ebook content from being altered. It also should prevent printing of the ebook and should allow the use of passwords or encryption methods to stop copy-write.

When you choose your compiler also look for as many features as possible. Try to choose one that offer the possibility of adding hyperlinks, audios and visual effects, graphics and customized menus.

Though features can help you create your dream ebook you need to be careful at what features you need. More features mostly means that you will have to pay more So try to choose a compiler that offers the features which you will really use in your ebook.

Finding the right ebook compiler is just a step towards creating a quality ebook. Take your time and find a program that suits you, after all you will pay for it and you will have to use it.

Why you should write ebooks

Maybe you are wondering why somebody who is selling something on the internet would start to write an ebook. Well I will tell you the reasons why anyone who is working from home online should write an ebook

A very important factor is that ebooks can help you get traffic for your website. Everybody these days is constantly looking for new information. An ebook does just that, it provides information to people. The subject isn’t that important as long as it is something people are interested in.

As an internet marketer an ebook will help you bring traffic to your website. If you publish a free ebook then you can expect to receive some valuable traffic from that ebook because it has a very appealing thing: free information.

By giving your ebook for free you are in fact advertising yourself and your products. By adding affiliate links to products or services that you are providing you can earn some good money. Each time somebody will buy using those links you will get a commission.

Another good thing about writing ebooks is that by accumulating all that knowledge you become, in fact, an expert on that subject. This can help you since people in general prefer to purchase products from somebody considered to be an expert, an authority. It is a proven fact that experts make more money than others.

Also you should permit people to give your ebook to others. This can only help you since you will get much more exposure. Also because this is a very reliable way to get some free advertising remember to set up an affiliate program for products that you have for sale. Place a link in each of your ebooks and direct people to join your affiliate program. By doing this your affiliate network will grow and you will also generate some sales.

By sending out your free ebook you can in fact expand your business. There is a saying between internet marketers “The money is in the list” and this is true. The bigger your mailing list the easier it is for you to make some real money. Ebooks can help you increase your mailing list because when people sign up for them they must give you their contact information. So every time you give away an ebook you actually help your mailing list grow.

I showed you today just a few reasons why an ebook is a valuable tool for your online business. Ebooks are something that every internet marketer should write since the advantages they bring are obvious. Remember to use your ebooks wisely and they will help you generate a healthy profit.

E-Books - Using Their Power

Have you ever wondered why e-books are so popular? Could anyone write and publish one? These are a couple of questions that we will answer today.

Nowadays you can find e-books everywhere on the internet. There are even libraries where you can download them directly to your computer. While some e-books are free, because they are in public domain, there are some that are written specifically to boost advertising.

It is well known that everyday people log on to the internet in search of information and the best way of giving it to them is through e-books as they are quickly and easily delivered. Their contribution to the marketplace is one of the forerunning advertisement methods in use today.

How to use e-books to promote your business?

When you offer free e-books to those people who visit your site you are allowing them to know more about the product/service you are promoting. By writing on a topic that you are familiar with you set yourself as an authority in your particular field.

Surely you are wondering how to get an e-book written for your customers to help boost the traffic and sales of your website. Can anyone write an E-Book? YES. Even if you consider you don’t have what it takes to be a writer, if you try you’ll see that it is not that difficult. The main idea is to write about something you are familiar with, to find the perfect niche for your business. If you love video games, then write about video games; if you are good at fishing write about fishing techniques – you get the picture. When the readers see that you are an expert they will develop a trust in you and they will be more eager to do business with you.

After your e-book is finished all you have to do is convert it to a PDF format. You can use any PDF converters that are available on the internet. Now that you have this knowledge I recommend getting started as quickly as possible. Remember – Time is Money :-)

Keep Them Interested

“The bigger your newsletter mailing list the better” at least this is what they say and they are telling the truth. But the fact is that not every newsletter you send is read even though you try to make it as attractive and exciting as possible.

A lot of people subscribe to different newsletters in order to get new information about a certain thing or just to be informed in general. But this doesn’t mean that sometimes they don’t simply press the delete key when they see your newsletter.

Statistically speaking a good Ezine is opened by 40% of the people that receive it. And this is for a very good Ezine. Once somebody has opened it only a small part of those 40% are read to the end. In general people read for a few seconds and if your content isn’t good enough to catch their attention then you can be sure it will be deleted. Now you can see the importance of headline and subtitles.

I’m going to present to you a series of mistakes people tend to do in their newsletters in the hope that you will be able to avoid them.

A very common problem is that the content of the Ezine is too stuffy, it is way too long and has a lot of topics.

An Ezine is a very difficult thing to write correctly. Another mistake I see in many newsletter is the language. It is either too personal too informal too formal or it uses a lot of jargon or depending on the newsletter a lot of corporate-speak.

Remember to put a call to action in your Ezine. This is another mistake. Some Ezines simply force you to just read them and delete them since they have no call to action.

Make sure you don’t write a dull newsletter. After all the point is to get the reader interested in what you are saying not bore him to death. So get a persuasive content and a good subject line to win your reader over.

Another common mistake is writing too much about yourself or your company. Always have in mind why does your subscribers read your newsletter and what interest them.

Always point out benefits for your reader. A very often seen mistake is a too aggressive call to action without showing the benefits your readers could get from it.

Keep your readers interested in your Ezine. Remember that the purpose of your newsletter is to inform and entertaining the readers. If you can’t do this than eventually your readers will get bored and unsubscribe.

So remember don’t get your Ezine on the delete list. Create good content not necessarily by writing it yourself. You can use other people’s content and give them full credit. It doesn’t matter. What is important is that your Ezine keeps it’s readers happy.

Ezine Software

Ezine’s are very useful in getting you that all important traffic but not everybody knows how exactly to create their newsletter.

You can start looking for Ezine building software on different search engines but the only thing you will get is a headache. The fact is that you will get so many results on so many different programs that you will simply not know witch one to choose. Also you must look for the best one that suits your budget and needs.

I’ll present to you the top 3 newsletter tools in my opinion.

One of the best website design software programs out there is Dreamweaver. It uses HTML so it is a very good HTML newsletter building program.

You can build and maintain your newsletter with it and create and improve your website -in my opinion is one of the best. It is a program that brings professionalism to your newsletter and website and because it comes with tutorials making it very easy to master.

You could try to use FrontPage but if you will make a comparison between FrontPage and Dreamweaver you will see that the second one is the best choice of the two. Also the fact that you can get free HTML newsletter templates that you can use and look very professional can save you a lot of time and trouble.

If you are looking for a free HTML editing software then you should look at Nvu. It is a very good HTML editor that comes with many of the features that a paid software comes with. Also the HTML pages you design look the same no matter the Internet browser or screen resolution. In other words the way your page looks in the program is the way it will look online.

Using this program you can easily create your HTML newsletter and you won’t have to worry about it looking different on other computers.

Now that you have the software that can help you create your newsletter you will need a newsletter publishing software. You will need this because it is practically impossible for you to send your newsletter one by one to the entire subscribers list.

This is when a newsletter publishing software will help you. The only thing you will have to do is press the Send button.

There are different kind of newsletter publishing programs. Some are based on your computer and depending on the speed of your Internet connection and your PC it might take a few hours to send all your newsletter to the entire list.

There are also online publishing tools that are web-based and because they use the server’s speed to send your newsletter it might take only a few minutes to do this.

Today you found out about a few programs that can help you create and maintain you Ezine. Of course there are a lot more so if you like you can start looking for the best newsletter publishing program that suits you.

Time To Get Subscribers

Nowadays there are a lot of people that begin to work from home on line and after building their website they start an Ezine as well. The question that many of them ask is how come they don’t get more subscribers for their newsletter.

I’m going to talk to you about a few things you can do to get people to subscribe to your newsletter.

A good start would be getting your Ezine listed on as many newsletter directories as possible. So start submitting your newsletter to these directories even though you might think this is time consuming. If you really don’t have the time to stay and submit your newsletter to Ezine directories you can always try newsletter submission services.

I recommend you go to Google, type in “Ezine Directory” and start submitting.

If you want people to subscribe, offering them something usually works best. Try to give them something free. It can be whatever you like such as an e-book, or a free report or free ad on your site. The better the things you will give them the more subscribers you will have.

It is always important to promote your newsletter. A good free way to advertise your newsletter is through your sig file or email signature. Mostly every email program allows you to add a signature file at the end of every email you send. It is usually a few lines long, so you have enough space to promote your Ezine.

By holding a contest on your website is another good way to gain subscribers. How? Well hold a contest and make it a requirement to be subscribed to your newsletter in order to participate in that contest. This usually works and gets you more signups.

Start visiting message boards and forums and begin posting on them. Write on forums you enjoy and after you make yourself credible other forum members will more than likely want to see what you have to offer. Before you post make sure you read the rules of that forum. Most forums permit you to ad a signature file when you post. This is a very valuable way through which you get traffic to your website.

A very common topic on forums is “ad swap” which brings us to the next way through which you will possibly get more subscribers to your Ezine. Swapping newsletter ads between publishers is a very common thing. You need to find a newsletter who’s audience will enjoy your Ezine. Then all you need to do is ask the publisher to swap newsletter ads and you will probably receive a positive answer.

Remember though that getting a big mailing list doesn’t happen over night. These are just a few tips and methods you can use to get you started in your endeavor. Remember to have good content in your newsletter and always plant your link wherever possible. Getting your link out there is very important because this will bring you a lot of subscribers.

Testing Your Ezine

As Ezines are very popular these days you should know a few things about how an Ezine is seen by other people.

Today I’ll talk to you about tests that you should do just to make sure that your newsletter is received properly by your audience. An internet newsletter is very much like a brochure. It sends out important information and content. But unlike a printed brochure an internet newsletter ca be seen in different ways because of different screen resolutions or internet browsers. So before you start sending your Ezine you should do a technical test and also test the way your audience receives the message.

Every computer out there has an internet browser but not all use the same one. This is something you should consider. A website that looks good on Opera doesn’t mean necessarily that it will look the same on Internet Explorer. You should test this because you cannot afford your newsletter to look bad on different computers. You should test your Ezine on different browsers and on different screen resolutions. Trying it on different computers if you don’t work in a large office, and you prefer to work from home. But you can always ask some friends to let you test it. Also another thing you might do, but is more time consuming, is to download different internet browsers and installing them on your computer. Also you might like to change your video settings to see how your Ezine looks on different resolutions.

The next test you should do is very much like a survey. You should send your newsletter to a bunch of people and ask them for their opinion on it. What did they think about the layout, did they like the photos you used, did they want to find more by visiting your website. You should also check if your message reached them without trouble. Once you find out these things you can move ahead and start publishing your Ezine. The truth is there is no point in you starting your newsletter if you won’t get people to read it and make them come and visit your website. After all that is the main purpose of a newsletter!

You might say I’m going over the top for a simple newsletter. But if you test all these things and you get it right then you can be sure that your newsletter has the best chances of becoming successful. Besides once you do all the testing you won’t have to go back and do them again. If you make any changes to the layout of your Ezine then it would be advisable that you test it again on different browsers but otherwise it should all work just fine. Another good idea would be to have somebody else read the newsletter before you send it out, this way you make sure no errors are overlooked.

In order to be sure that the response you get from your readers is positive and the technical features of your newsletter are good, testing is mandatory. Testing your newsletter before you send it brings it one step closer to success.

More Ezine Publishing Advice

Every day more and more people start working from home on line. An Ezine is something that a lot of people who work online have, or better said started. Many of them start writing an Ezine and then begin loosing readers or even worst never get off the ground because they don’t send newsletters on a regular basis to their readers.

Today I’m going to talk to you about what you should and shouldn’t add in your newsletter.

If you ever find yourself asking what to write next in your newsletter then it means you should start looking for some inspiration. You can browse the internet and see what people working in the same field as you are sending out. What articles they include and how do they advertise their business. Remember that your newsletter can be a very good way to advertise your business or to include information about different products you might be selling.

If you for whatever reasons can’t write the articles you can use free article websites such as www.ezinearticles.com where you can find the articles you need. It is a simple way of getting a good article, and you just have to tell the author than you plan to publish his article. This is a good thing in general since the author will most probably forward your newsletter since his article is featured in it.

Also always try to expand your mailing list. A good way to do this is to get your ads out there. So for example I write an article which I publish in a newsletter. I allow 4 ads per issue and I could charge for those ads, but if reaching a larger audience is what you are after then you should try exchanging ads with another newsletter owner. They get their ad on your newsletter and you get yours on theirs.

In your newsletter you should also add information about new members or about you. Also any new book release or any information that is related to the topic of your Ezine. Always remember to add in your newsletter information about your services and include your website’s URL. It would be wise to include in your issue unsubscribing instructions and to point out the benefits your readers get from your newsletter.

It isn’t that important how often you send your newsletter. What is important is that you make it on a regular basis. You can send your Ezine once a month, twice a month, weekly even if you want. The only thing you must look out for is keeping your readers interested in what you are writing.

From my experience here are some pointers to a successful newsletter: Use spell check, white space and do not overcrowd your newsletter. Only use ads that are important to the content of your Ezine, include unsubscribing information and make sure your readers can have some input in the way your Ezine looks.

These are just a part of the things that a newsletter should have and should follow. If you follow these steps you can be sure that in no time your newsletter will grow and start attracting more and more people. Getting a good customer base will ensure that you will have enough people to spread the word about your Ezine, and thus receive free advertising.

Ezine Marketing Tips

Ezines are accessible to everybody who enjoys writing, or maybe simply doesn’t like wasting time looking for ways to work from home on line for a little extra income.

I thought I ‘d talk to you today a little bit about what an Ezine is and what steps you should follow to build your very own Ezine. Actually an Ezine is simply an online magazine. The reason why Ezine’s are so popular these days is because domains with free web hosting are now all over the internet. So an Ezine is very cheap to run compared to a paper magazine.

Like everything else you shouldn’t simply jump right into it. You should analyze the things needed to start your Ezine. Firstly you should choose your subject. Try to write about something you already know about, or about one of your passions or hobbys. For example if cars are your thing then research that subject. See if it is a good subject for an Ezine and start writing.

Content is also very important in an Ezine. The purpose of the Ezine is to present information to an audience, but this information has to be fresh, true and about the subject you picked, otherwise your readers might disappear.

The next thing you should think about is your audience. If your Ezine is about the automotive industry then you can expect your viewers to want to receive technical specifications and things like that. In other words be careful how you design your Ezine. Also if you publish something for children try to keep the language and information at an adequate level for them.

Also let me point out a common mistake people tend to do. After their Ezine is functional they don’t try to keep it interesting for their visitors. By introducing new information on your Ezine on a regular basis, you make sure that people will come back and visit it.

If you want to have a successful with Ezine publishing, advertising is another aspect you should keep your eyes pealed for. You need to make people know about your Ezine. You need to find the best way of getting to your targeted audience. You can try advertising the old fashion way, in magazines, papers etc. You can tell all your friends and ask them to tell all their friends and so on. Also registering with search engines helps bring traffic to your Ezine. Keep in mind the subject of your Ezine and try to spread the news about it in circles that are somehow connected to the subject you are writing about.

Although not everybody thinks Ezines are here to stay I can assure you that this is the best, newest and fastest growing way of providing people with the information they need.

Introduction to Eznies

Web professionals know that marketing an online business is no easy chore. It takes time, and a very good knowledge of advertising. Spam emails are something that a good online advertiser will stay clear of. Spam doesn’t bring any good thing to a business. In fact spamming will most probably get people annoyed, get your business a bad reputation or black-listed. I know just like everybody else that getting your links into possible customer’s emails is something that can really help your online business. But you don’t have to spam to do this. Publish an ezine, which is an electronic newsletter that you send via email.

If you work from home on line and you have your own internet business then you should know that your own ezine can bring you the promotional benefits of email marketing but without having to deal with the problems that come with spamming. By writing and sending your ezine you constantly remind possible and old customers of your internet business. By doing this you also increase your respectability.

As you see an ezine can bring you a lot of benefits, plus starting to publish one is really easy.

Like everything else when you start your ezine you have to know what you are going to write about, so the first thing to do is pick out a subject. It can be news of different activities or sport etc. It all depends on the kind of online business you own. If your website sells tuning parts for cars it is obvious that you will choose a subject that relates to that, such as car racing or something like that.

Now you need to incorporate an opt-in option on your website. This can be placed wherever you like but it has to be somewhere visible and have something of a “in-your-face” attitude. For example if people register on your site or buy something you could put the opt-in option on the registration page. Also you can place it on your homepage or on integral part of every page of your website like a header or sidebar. You don’t need to create a separate page only for this because you only need your visitor’s emails.

Now all you need is to start writing the actual ezine. If you plan on writing along then you should know that it is very time consuming and the best thing would be to get a part of the articles from a third party. There are online repositories that grant you free access to articles. You don’t need to have a lot of articles on your ezine per issue. Just remember to include news about your business and a link back to your website.

If you master ezine publishing you will be able to market and promote your website in a very efficient and honest way.
